Steller returns to Washington waters

Back in early October of 2014, PAWS Wildlife Center received a patient we’d never treated before – a Steller Sea Lion pup, estimated to be only four months old. Today we look back at his rehabilitation and share the happy ending that saw him return to Washington waters this spring.

Baby Bird Nursery Open for Business

It’s officially breeding season for birds in Washington, and adults have been busily building nests, protecting territories, and trying to attract mates for weeks. With the onset of the breeding season comes the opening of the baby bird nursery at PAWS Wildlife Center.
